Hey

Been a while since I wrote a post and I felt like it was time I got back to writing. In the past few weeks, I've considered quite a number of times to type out another post but I felt that I was just too lazy and besides, I don't have much going on in life.

Currently still serving NS in SPF with just over 4 months to go and I honestly terribly want to get it over and done with. (!!!) Something slightly more interesting, that I'm still in the midst of, is that I'm matriculating early into Singapore Management University (SMU)! Pretty excited for what lies ahead of me in that sense, although I must say that I'm equally terrified of the future. Praying and Hoping that things pan out the way I want it to.

Alsoooo, surprisingly, for the first time ever just as I'm about to turn 20 my parents agreed to letting me go overseas with my friends! This is honestly a pleasant surprise for me because I've been feeling jealous of all my friends who get to travel and spend time doing all kinds of cool stuff and gaining new experiences with their close friends! If Prem's (my close friend) and my leaves get sorted out, then I could be going to Bangkok for a short holiday before the year ends! Excitedddd

One country that I should highly likely be visiting again this year is India for yet another one of my cousin's wedding. This cousin of mine, Usama, is one of my closest relatives and I really hope to be there for his wedding. He always brings me around our hometown when I come to visit and definitely, the wedding would change the dynamics of our relationship but I wish him all the best in what I believe would be a happy and fulfilling life for him.

On the note of the countries that I should be visiting, I will hopefully also be visiting the United States of America for the very first time! Honestly, it is a bit frightening to go to the USA right now with the prevalence of racism, mass gun shootings, security threats and what not. Add to that the fact that my sis is currently staying in Connecticut, I definitely have at least one worry on my mind. I still do wanna go the USA though, would be an eye-opening experience for me before I step into my university and go full-on mugger mode!

Gonna end my post with that. Waiting for my birthday in just under 20 days. Hope it's a decent day hahaha.

      Hahaha damn son, you're the first one to see this I think HAHA, but now you can see how hopeless I am at consistency bro. Did a few posts then I got lazy again so I didn't continue it hahaha but atleast THANKS for commenting and maybe unintentionally encouraging me to post more :)

Just an update

Hi, So I found out that I still had this old blogspot account of mine from back in 2010 about a month ago and I decided I might as well use it as a diary of some sort. Fast forward about 7 years from then, and many things have changed. I've done a few questionable things, I've had happy memories, sad ones but I don't regret the position which I'm at now. Serving my National Service at Geylang Neighbourhood Police Centre probably makes me very privileged and I'm waiting to go to SMU to further my studies after I ORD, yet I feel no sense of purpose nor motivation in life. I spend my free time playing and watching shows and yeah sometimes I do enjoy it but I feel like I've lost the drive, passion, curiosity that pushed me to do new stuff, find out about things and what not y'know. A problem I encountered and how I solved or managed it

KK Hospital Almost everyone knows my hand got fractured recently. In the previous post,I told you about how my hand got fractured.And of course,I ALMOST solved it by going to the hospital.I went to Singapore General Hospital and I went to the Emergency centre.I waited for like 30 mins before I saw a nurse.The nurse took my blood pressure(I think?) and then I had to wait again for like another 45mins before I could see a real doctor.The doctor asked me to clench my fists,move my fingers then he asked me to take an x-ray.So,I waited for 15 minutes and then I took my x-ray.After that,I had to see the doctor again but I had to wait for 1 hour for that.After that,the doctor looked at the X-ray and told me that it was a sprain.So,I went home,relieved. Radiant rays of the sun enveloped my neighbourhood. I woke up after a long day passed.I looked at my hand to check whether the swelling decreased.I was still wondering how a sprain could look so scary.That day flew very fast.I didn't

My thoughts

This isn't an one-time occurrence. Almost everyday or every other day atleast, there would be a certain event that makes me reflect on my actions and subsequently makes me think and feel that I have to improve myself to be a better person and that there are actions I can take to achieve that. The problem, however, is that I rarely act upon on these thoughts in a successful manner. Yeah, many times I have done what I felt were the right steps to enhance myself but I never sustain these measures. Consistency and determination are two attributes I desperately lack. My day to day life is always so lacklustre and I always expect my life to be better than this yet I do nothing to make it as such. Above it all, I feel like I know where my problems lie but I just don't bring myself to rectify them. I stick to my easy lifestyle way too much.
