Something that took place in school

The End-of-Year Examinations and everyone was excited for the upcoming Inter-class Competitions.Every class from each level will compete against each other in a certain sport to win the GOLD medal.We,1G 2010 wanted the Gold trophy.We worked hard and we got a Silver cup instead.I was waiting for that day for a very long time and at last,it arrived.

It was an early morning and the Prinicipal and the PE teachers were making an announcement about the Interclass.After that,we went back to class,changed into our PE attires and rushed to hear yet another briefing.This briefing was about the rules and regulations.The Secondary One Interclass was to take place in the tennis court.2 matches will be held at the same time,in two different courts.All the classes were to compete against another class once.When we found out who our first opponents,we were shocked.It was the sports class 1F 2010.I went to play the match with fear and to our dismay,it ended in a saddening 3-0 or 4-0.I was heartbroken after the match was over but I still had a little bit of confidence left in me that told me that we could win.We played the next match against 1D 2010 and yet again we lost.This time round I was frustrated.My class could play much better than that!I encouraged the rest of my classmates to play better and keep up their hopes.

The next match,I could not remember our opponents,but what I remember most is that we won!We had just started our winning streak and I was very happy.Fadi Sng was the goalscorer and I was very proud.The next few matches we played with more confidence.We won the rest of the matches and I was very sure that we would atleast get a bronze.We did not concede another goal except once when we played against 1I 2010 and Amir Zeb from their class scored,but we scored another 2 goals resulting in a great comeback.To be frank,we could not have won it without Fadi and Yeow Wai.Fadi scored the most amount of goals,almost all and Yeow Wai could tackle every single person.

I also made an achievement by shooting from half court when we were playing against 1A 2010 and it went past 3 of the players and the goalkeeper,but Fadi thinking that it was about to go out,slided in and touched it so it was considered his goal.Though he was happy about his goal,he immediately apologised for somewhat 'stealing' my goal,but I did not mind as long as we won.

The Interclass had ended and the award ceremony was about to start.My class won the silver trophy.1F 2010 had the same amount of points as us but they had scored 10 more goals than our class so they won the Gold trophy while my class won the Silver trophy.1F 2010 had also won the Gold medal for floorball.They had indeed proved that they were the sports class.Good Job 1F 2010!
